The legal side of selling a home is far easier for the vendor than for the buyer. The buyer's solicitor does most of the work leaving you to complete forms and provide information as requested.
You should remember that the buyer will expect reasonable access to your property in the lead up to exchange of contracts for measuring up and builder's estimates.
Be sure to keep in close communication with your solicitor and when completion date arrives, only hand over your keys when your solicitor says you can.
